loving someone can change your life

When you love someone,
You’ll do anything for that love
Don’t matter what it is
You’ll do it
But he doesn’t know how to appreciate that love
And he breaks your heart.
Has anyone tell that they love you
And that he will always do
No matter what
Well guess what
He might be lying
And you might not know that
Has anyone tell you “I will ALWAYS be there for you”
But what comes next
Is it fights or not trusting each other?
What if that person just said that to make you trust him…
...Before loving someone
You should think about it
Because it can change your life
Doesn't matter if is a good love or not.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

It was a beautiful day and we decided to work outside like we always do only that this time we were going to wake up earlier so we can have more work done by the end of the day. We eat twice a day, in the morning when we wake up and in the night, an hour before we go to sleep. My name is Joana and I live with my mom, my sister and my brothers. I have two little brothers, Henry is the youngest one, and Kevin the second youngest, and a little sister name Janet. My parents name is Josefina and Alejandro. We have a small farm, and a dog, who we consider as our guard. Us as a family work together really hard every single day, that we don’t even spend time together.
Today I have to go to the farm and feed the chicks, then I have to collect the eggs, that the chicken left. After that, I have to feed the other animals. When I done doing that I had to take my little brothers and sister to school. While they’re at school, the rest of us do the house, and farm work. My mom was a little sick so the only thing she had to do was sit in a chair, sew some cloth, rest, and do it all over again. I think is hard for her to do that every day, all over again, sitting in the chair. But at least she’s helping us, too. My dad farms crops, and then sells them. Like today my dad’s going to pack the crops and sell them to the people in the city. We usually sell all of our crops, and that’s why we work so hard.
Me after I come back from taking my brothers and sister from school, I have to collect some apples and take them home to cook. After I’m done I would go and the house. Also when I was done I had to cook for my family… When I was about to start cooking, my father came to men and told me to cook something special for dinner. He explain to me why he wanted me to cook something special fro dinner….. We were all going to eat together, taking our time to eat, (not in a hurry like we always ate), and talk, tell jokes, even play games. I was so surprise. It had been a long time since we have fun together. So I cook apple pies for desert, apple juice to drink while eating, cheese, and a chicken. I was so excited, that I couldn’t wait for the special dinner. At last there we are eating dinner together like a real family. Even dough my brother Kevin had some trouble using the butter knife…..

The Secret

It was my best friend’s deepest, darkest secret and it would be a hard one to keep. It was about my best friend Louis. I just can’t take it anymore, and I don’t know what to do. Should I tell or should I keep quiet and not say anything. But I will feel horrible if I don’t help him, I will also feel bad if I say anything because I don’t want to loose my best friend, if I say something he’s going to think that I betrayal him and he will be right, but I just want to help him, that all . What would I do without him, I know him since we were in pampers, so I know when he’s mad, sad, , shy, or NERVOUS. He would never hurt anyone nor he would make them feel bad. He hates violence and now he hates himself, too. I don’t understand… “what’s going?” It all started one afternoon. When me and Jesse were going to the store (every Saturday we went to the store to buy candy), and after that we were going to go to the park. But after getting out of the store there were some mean kids who always picked on Jesse they were Arnold, John and Joshua. Jesse never listen to them until they said something he didn’t like. Like I said I know when Jesse’s mad and this time he wasn’t just mad he was angry. I told him to calm down and to not do anything, until he thinks about what he’s doing or what the consequences will be if he does anything wrong. He did listen to me but he still got thought of doing something back to them. After a week I hadn’t seen Jesse it was like if he disappear and he didn’t even went to school, and ofcourse I was relly worry about him so I decided to go visit him to his house. When I got there his parents told me that he wasn’t home that he was in the park playing basketball. It was weird for me because Jesse never plays basketball in the park without me (we both love basketball). So then I knew he was up to something, and I don’t know why but I felt that it was something bad, really bad. So I hurried to the park, and that’s when I saw him sitting in bench with tears running trow his face, and I asked him what was wrong. Then he started crying even more, I gave him a hug to make him feel a little better, and it did work, but what really didn’t work was taking words out of his mouth. I was waiting for him to tell me what was wrong, what was going on. So we went for a walk, and that’s when he told me, that’s when I was getting to understand why he wasn’t showing up at school and why he was crying. I felt really bad for him, because I had given so many advices and he did took my advices… except for the one last advice I had given him do not do anything, until you think about what your doing or what the consequences will be if you take the wrong decision. He didn’t listen to me and now he has to pay for what he has done.

Her Myterious Death

Her death was due to mysterious circumstances and I was assigned to the case. It took place on her apartment, she lived in 2849 North Avenue. She lived in the first floor. She was marry to a guy named Gabriel Gonzales, and they had a baby who was nine months old. When I went to her apartment there were a lot of officers in the house searching for unexpected things. As I was walking towards the house there was the officer Perez. He told me that she was found dead this afternoon at 3:00 pm, and that her baby of nine months old Janet and his husband Gabriel were missing. Suddenly we see a car parking in front of the house. It was a man driving, and in the back seat was the baby with some bags on the other side of him. It looked like if he had come from the market to food or something like that. Then he gets of the car and starts running towards the house and he asks, “what happen here? Is Isabel alright?” and again he run inside he house to see if his wife was okay. Apparently he saw his wife’s body lying on the floor, with blood everywhere. Then he starts crying, and police offices try to take him away from his wife, but he wouldn’t let go. When the officers finally took him to the ambulance, they went to look for the baby on the car and took it to him. Then I went to where he was at and I introduce myself, “ Hi, I’m the detective Becerra, and I’m going to take care of your wife’s case of murder” and he shake my hand and said, “ hi, I’m Gabriel Gonzales, and my baby’s name is Janet Gonzales, I also wanted to thank you for helping me and my baby to find Isabel’s murderer. Isabel didn’t deserved to die to young and specially when we were about to have a new life with our first new born baby, and I asked him, “ so this is the first baby you and Isabel had?”, “yes, sir” he answers. Then I started asking more questions and he answer them all, or almost all, and it seem that he had answer the questions like he had nothing to do with it and of course maybe he didn’t had anything to do with it so there wasn’t a reason why he should be nervous. But the one question he didn’t answer like the other ones was when I asked him; “and where were you at, when your wife Isabel was all alone at the house”, he took a moment to answer and then said “do you think I killed my wife!?”, and I said “well we never know what the relationship was like between the two couple, when one get murder, (after a fight maybe)”. So then he takes the baby on his arms, turns and walks away. I just let him go, because he knew that what I said was true, so he realize what was going on inside my head. The next day I went to see Isabel’s body and when I saw it, it was horrible. It was like if I had just seen a ghost right in front of me. She had marks on her face she was cut with a knife, and she had bruises on their arms and legs. Some of her hair was missing on the left side of her head, too. Like if she had struggle to get away form the killer, but the killer caught her and pull her really hard from her hair until it came of, like if he did it on purpose. The victim didn’t got rape, and the killer didn’t even stole anything from the house. Then in the house, where Isabel was found dead, right next to her was a knife. The knife she was murder with. The only problem was that the knife didn’t had a single finger print, or anything like that. Yesterday I was looking around the house and found an album, Isabel’s album. There was one picture in that album that attracted my attention to it. In the picture there was the whole family. So I started looking for every person from the picture. Lucky me that I did found every single person from the picture. But when I came up to them nobody said anything, is like if they knew who the killer was, but they were afraid of saying something. At last Isabel’s sister Veronica had said that Isabel had an ex-husband who had always treated her bad and never let her go out. Veronica said, “ It was like if she was his slave, but we haven’t seen him since they got divorce. They got divorce like three years ago, but I still have a feeling that he’s the killer”. She gave me his name Andrew Gonzales and I started searching for him and found his address. It was kind of weird, because he had the same last name as Gabriel. So I decided to see both of them at the same time in the police station, but indifferent rooms and ask them the same questions. They both did said that trued that they were both brothers and that they both had fell in love with the same girl, and that they both made a deal about who would keep her. Andrew had said that he was the first one to marry her and lived with her, but he wasn’t too nice to her, so they got divorce about three years ago, (I had remember of Veronica who had said that they got divorce three years ago and that Andrew wasn’t to nice with her). Then it was Gabriel’s turn, and he said the same thing only that he did stayed with Isabel and that they even had a baby who’s Janet, the nine year old baby. The I put them both in the same room and told them what was going on and why I had asked the same questions. Andrew couldn’t believe it, nor did Gabriel. After that I kept asking them more questions until I suspected something from them, like if all they had said was already planned. So I just let them go and decided to follow them I was keeping and eye on them, because I had a feeling that they had something to do with Isabel’s death. If they had gone to different directions, I would send two other policemen to follow one of them and I’ll follow the other one which was Andrew. So we kept following them until Gabriel and Andrew met themselves in a restaurant. I thought “they took different directions, but they met in the same place so that the police or I wouldn’t suspect anything else about them, but they didn’t know that were being followed since they got out of the police station. So I order the policemen who were dressed in regular cloth to go inside and what them and to listen what they were talking about or what they were doing there. So they did what I had order them to do, they went inside the restaurant then currently I heard a shot. I got out of the car and ran inside the restaurant, and then I hear another shot. When I got there, there laid Andrew and right next to him was Gabriel. Both of them had been shot by the guy who was sitting in front of them. The two officer man and I took our guns out and told him to put his hands out and throw the gun to us. He did as we told him to do, and took him to the police station. His name was Albert Benfield. He had told me everything that had happen, and he even told he was the one who had killed Isabel. He was Isabel’s best friend. In the next five days he had been send to jail for ten years, for murderer. After all, I was right about Andrew and Gabriel having to do with Isabel’s death. But at the same time I was wrong. Andrew nor Gabriel were the ones who killed Isabel. Everything was solved, the only thing that broke my heart was that Janet had no parents now, and that she was send to a foster home, and I just thought "Poor Janet"...

How to Make Logandale Better

There are many reasons that would make Logandale a better school. Having more activities would make the school fun and exciting. The school should change the food, to healthy food, but at the same time that tastes good. Doing the work in the computers, I mean using it more often. So what do you think, would this be some good reasons?
Having more activities would make the school fun and exciting. Having more games in gym, but not only in school time but after school and before school. Doing work but in a better and exciting way, not boring ways. Like just writing and writing won’t be a fun way, but writing and sharing some ideas with the class will be fun to do, and it will give students more encouragement to do their work and stay in the school. Activities are not only the problem but the food, too.
The school should change the food, and give it healthy but at the same time good (looking) that would make students want to eat it and eat lunch here. It will be good for the students and we give them more energy to use in school. Their parents will see that the food from here is good for their children. Also to make students wash their hands before eating, because some of the students go to art or write and their hands are dirty, and then they eat so they’re eating germs which can make them sick. The food is boring and the work too, and it makes the students don’t want to do their work.
Doing the work on the computers and using them more often will also be a good idea and will make the school improve, too. For example, if we do writing work in the computer it would be easier to do, because if the students make a mistake they can erase it without living a make there. Also teachers won’t have to worry about their students not having their materials in the class. Parents too, they won’t have to worry if their children don’t have their materials or they don’t have money to buy the materials. Parents will like Logandale and might send their children to Logandale, because of all the activities, food, and the work that they do in their laptops.
Those are some reasons, that can make Logandale a better school. Having more activities would make the school fun and exciting. The school should change the food, and give it healthy but at the same time good. Doing the work in the computers, and using it more often. Don’t you think that, that will make Logandale a better school?

Yesica Becerra's Life Story

When I first got marry at age 18 I didn't know I was doing wrong, because I was too young to get marry. But that's what my decision was back then. Years later I had my first child, it was a boy. He's now 15 years old , Oscar. Then a year later I had my second child, but this time it was a girl, she's now 14 years old, Yesica. After that I had another girl, Irma and she's now 12. I had three kids and I thought that was too many kids and decided to leave them with my sister Patricia, who was suppose to take care of them. Then two years after I left, I had another girl, her name is Lidia and she's now 10 years old. They didn't know they had a little sister until they were about five or six. I use to call them once in a while when I had time or when they had time, and they use to speak with their little sister. They didn't know her by person, but they talked on the phone, so it didn't make me feel that bad. Yesica always said she wish she could see Lidia for the first time, and be with her the whole time, and play with her, too.

I had left them with my sister, because she was closer to me and lived almost in the same block. Then I called her so I can speak with my children but she had said that they were staying in my mom's house. At first I was really mad about her, leaving my children somewhere else when I gave them to her so she could take care of them. Then I got over it because they were better with their grandma, even dough Yesica told me that she felt alone, because in the house they made fun of her and her sister and brother, just because they didn't had parents. It broke my heart just by hearing her say that. So I told her that one of these days I was going to go to Mexico to pick them up and come to Chicago. Yesica didn't know why I had left them and she always ask, her aunts, uncles, and her grandma but nobody wanted to tell her. Or at least that's what she told me. Then she ask me why had I left them and why didn't I took them with me. I did told her the truth, that I cold take care of them, and that also I needed to work to feed ourselves.

I told her that I came here to Chicago and had left them with their aunt because, I came here (Chicago) to work and the money I won, send it to them, and that I couldn't take them with me because it was going to be harder for me to go to work with three kids. So like I told her, "one of these days I'm going to Mexico to pick them up and come to Chicago", and I did. I went to Mexico when Yesica was 9 years old. Also for the first time she had seen her little sister and Oscar and Irma, too. At that time Lidia was 5 years old. At first they all use to get along, but now is like they were sharks fighting for food. But the important thing is that we are together again. Oh yeah sorry not to mention it, almost all together, because I got separated from their dad when I left them with their aunt. I told them that too, and the good thing is that they did understand me.

What Do I wish from Barrack Obama?

Immigration and the border:
What I wish from Barrack Obama is to let immigrants stay in the country. Some immigrates come here to have a new life. Other immigrants come here to work so they can feed their families. Send immigrants back to their country if they’re here just to fool around doing bad thing. Wouldn’t it be helpful if Barrack Obama let immigrants stay here, but only immigrants who really do work?

Other immigrants come here to have a new life. Some immigrants come here to have freedom, because maybe in their own country they wouldn’t be able to work or go to school. Or maybe , because they were had problems with their house or necessary things. Maybe they couldn’t afford shoes or clothes. They come here to have a new life and work for their family.

Other immigrants come here to work so they can feed their families. Immigrants come here to work, because maybe in their country even dough they work, the money they raised isn’t enough for his family. They also come here, because they will like their families to have everything they need and so that they don’t have to suffer for food, clothing or necessary things. They want to at least have money to live in a house like normal people and not live in the streets like some people live.
But not all immigrants like to work.

Send immigrants back to their country if they’re here just to fool around doing bad things. Not all immigrants come here to work and support their family. They are here to mess around, like for example they did something bad in their country and they come here to hide from the police, who are looking for him. Then when they are here they want to do whatever they want to do, because they think that this is a free country. I mean this is a free country but that doesn’t mean that people can come here and just do what ever they want to do. There are some rules that people have to follow too. But not all immigrants are the same.

In my conclusion I think that Barrack Obama should let immigrants stay here . Some immigrates come here to have a new life. Other immigrants come here to work so they can feed their families. Send immigrants back to their country if they’re here just to fool around doing bad thing. But remember not all immigrants are the same. So what do you think?

Life-Changing Event

When I first came here I was only nine years old, it was on 2003. I was in 3th grade and I didn't know anyone. I always did everything alone and worked alone, because I had no friends. Then in 2004, when I was in 4th grade I met two girls from my class name Adilene and Diana. They were always together like if they were sisters or something like that.
I thought that, that was weird and that they were weird. I mean, they sitted together, they worked together, they sitted together at lunch, and they went home together. They did almost everything together. At last they saw that I was alone and that nobody talked to me, so they dicided to go and talked. Since then we became friends and now I did everything with them.
Then the three of us became best friends, and we're still best friends. These event change my life, because back then when I was alone I had no one to talk to. Now I have friends that I can count on and I know that they will never betray me. We know each other for five or six years, and we still talk and we're still friends.

Parents Are/Are Not Best Teachers

I agree, parents are the best teachers. Parents who are teachers can help their children with their homework. Parents who are teachers will watch his or her students’ behavior, and will compare their behavior with his or her child’s behavior. If the teacher has his or her daughter in his or her class it will be easier for them to watch what they do at home and at school. Do you think these are good reasons or should I explain them to you?

Parents who are teachers can help their children with their homework. If their children don’t understand some work they have, she or he can help them and teach them, too. While the parent’s (who are teachers) help their own children, they can get ideas from them on how to teach his or her students. Parents can practice at home with their own children, on how to teach his or her students at school. Parents who are teachers will help their Child on their work, but will also notice their behavior at home and at school.

Parents who are teachers will watch his or her students’ behavior and will compare their behavior with his or her child’s behavior. Parents will know if their child is lying to them, about having no homework when they do. Or they will know if the child is lying to them about staying after school to finish their work, when they’re in the streets messing around. The parent will call to school and will ask if they’re there or not then that’s how they will know they were lying. Some parents who are teachers know when their child is lying to them, because of their students. Their students probably did that to their parents and teachers know that.

If the teacher who’s a parent has his or her daughter or son in his or her class, it will be easier for them to watch what they do at home and at school. They will know what their child was up to the whole day. They will know if their child has homework or not, so their child won’t be able to lie to them about having homework or not. They will be able to help their child better in their homework, because he or she is his or her teacher and parent. By helping their children to learn more, makes them parents who are good teachers.

So that’s why Parents are the best teachers.

A Skill Everyone Needs

A skill everyone needs to know is “MATH”. Everyone will need to know how to count. Everyone will need to know how to solve math problems a little faster. Everyone will need to know geometry. So what do you think, isn’t math important for our life?

Everyone will need to know how to count. Like for example, when we go to the store we need to count money on how much are we going to spend and how much money do we have. Another example can be about when we work in a store, because we will have to be able to count the money that has to be return to the customer or how much does the customer has to pay. A last example will be when we help other people like a little brother or sister. If we weren’t be able to help them it will be embarrassing, because we’re older than them and we should be able to help them at least in the additions and or subtractions. Knowing how to count will help you solve math problems.

Everyone should know how to solve a math problems a little faster. Like for example, “ I have $20 and I need to buy milk and bread. The bread costs $1.69, and the milk costs $3.69.” To be able to know the total cost I will need to add. So $1.69+$3.69=$5.65, and to be able to know what we will receive back (the change). We will need to be able to know how to subtract- $20-$5.65=$14.35. So that’s why we everyone should know how to solve math problems more faster. If you know how to solve a math problem than you know geometry.

Everyone will need to know geometry. Like angles, sizes, and shapes. An example of using angles will be when we park a car, or even to fix a car, or a bike, or a motorcycle. In using shapes and sizes, too, we will use shapes to fix something. You will ask yourselves, and why do we need to know our shapes and sizes? Well it’s like fixing a puzzle. Everything that you put together has to fit or else is not right, right. Just think about how many things you will be able to do!

A skill everyone needs to know is math. Everyone will need to know how to count. Everyone will need to know how to solve math problems a little faster. Everyone will need to know geometry. All this things you will need to know for a better future. This skill will help you in many ways, too.

The Best Day Ever

It was a rainy day and kind of cold, too. But it was a perfect day for me.
It was also my best day ever, because everything went right. Just like I wanted.
When I started getting ready for school I didn't had a problem in
finding my clothes nor my shoes. I didn't even had a problem
doing my hair.My mom didn't
yelled at nobody for the whole day ( because she's always yelling at
everybody for no reason). My friends would tell me how pretty
I looked and how they loved my
hair so much. Because I have LONG hair. They would also help
me with my work and teachers
will smile at me for my good work and tell me how great I did the work.
Everything just came out perfect for me I didn't had a problem at all.
It was just so weird for me having no problem with anything,
because every day I had to have a problem and
deal with it or fix it. But not this time, for that whole day.
I didn't even wanted the day to end.
But after school was when mostly everything
went good, perfect should I say.I mean the guy I liked and fell in
love with had ask me out. All these day I was trying to get his
attention and never did till that day. And that's how it turn out to be
"The Best Day Ever", too.

Her Smile

When I looked at her smile, I knew she was up to something. So I went and ask her, "what's going on?". She answer with another big smile on her face and said "nothing, why?". I looked at her again and said, "well you seem so happy about something, and something good by the look on your face", "well" she said, "there is something going on, and it is good too, but... it's a secret" she whisper. So I looked at he one more time, and she still had a smile on her face.
I ask myself what was she up to. So I went on, trying to convince her to tell me the secret. She kept ignoring me and smiling. So at last she told me "you'll find out later what's the hurry". But she wouldn't tell me a word of what was going on and I decided to leave it alone.
Then later one of her friends came and started whispering at her, then turn and look at me. Then another, and another. So I got tired and went out there and yelled at them telling them to tell me the secret or else he wouild never talk to them again. That's when she decided to tell me. She said " well if you want to know now I'll tell you, but next time be a little more patient okay?Well me and the rest of the kids were making you a surprise party for you, for your birth-day, and now I don't think it's a surprise no more don't you?"
So I turn to look at her and answer with a no. I felt really bad so I just went back to my house and hid inside my room. Suddenly I heard the door bell ring so I went running to open the door and all I her was "Happy Birth-Day" and kids singing happy birth-day with a girl smiling at me and holding a cake for me. I felt bad for yelling at them so I apologize and gave them a big hug. Then we just went inside and ate cake for the rest of the evening. Now I know, when I look at her smile, she's up smething, but something that will be good for other people.... or not.
