loving someone can change your life

When you love someone,
You’ll do anything for that love
Don’t matter what it is
You’ll do it
But he doesn’t know how to appreciate that love
And he breaks your heart.
Has anyone tell that they love you
And that he will always do
No matter what
Well guess what
He might be lying
And you might not know that
Has anyone tell you “I will ALWAYS be there for you”
But what comes next
Is it fights or not trusting each other?
What if that person just said that to make you trust him…
...Before loving someone
You should think about it
Because it can change your life
Doesn't matter if is a good love or not.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

It was a beautiful day and we decided to work outside like we always do only that this time we were going to wake up earlier so we can have more work done by the end of the day. We eat twice a day, in the morning when we wake up and in the night, an hour before we go to sleep. My name is Joana and I live with my mom, my sister and my brothers. I have two little brothers, Henry is the youngest one, and Kevin the second youngest, and a little sister name Janet. My parents name is Josefina and Alejandro. We have a small farm, and a dog, who we consider as our guard. Us as a family work together really hard every single day, that we don’t even spend time together.
Today I have to go to the farm and feed the chicks, then I have to collect the eggs, that the chicken left. After that, I have to feed the other animals. When I done doing that I had to take my little brothers and sister to school. While they’re at school, the rest of us do the house, and farm work. My mom was a little sick so the only thing she had to do was sit in a chair, sew some cloth, rest, and do it all over again. I think is hard for her to do that every day, all over again, sitting in the chair. But at least she’s helping us, too. My dad farms crops, and then sells them. Like today my dad’s going to pack the crops and sell them to the people in the city. We usually sell all of our crops, and that’s why we work so hard.
Me after I come back from taking my brothers and sister from school, I have to collect some apples and take them home to cook. After I’m done I would go and the house. Also when I was done I had to cook for my family… When I was about to start cooking, my father came to men and told me to cook something special for dinner. He explain to me why he wanted me to cook something special fro dinner….. We were all going to eat together, taking our time to eat, (not in a hurry like we always ate), and talk, tell jokes, even play games. I was so surprise. It had been a long time since we have fun together. So I cook apple pies for desert, apple juice to drink while eating, cheese, and a chicken. I was so excited, that I couldn’t wait for the special dinner. At last there we are eating dinner together like a real family. Even dough my brother Kevin had some trouble using the butter knife…..

The Secret

It was my best friend’s deepest, darkest secret and it would be a hard one to keep. It was about my best friend Louis. I just can’t take it anymore, and I don’t know what to do. Should I tell or should I keep quiet and not say anything. But I will feel horrible if I don’t help him, I will also feel bad if I say anything because I don’t want to loose my best friend, if I say something he’s going to think that I betrayal him and he will be right, but I just want to help him, that all . What would I do without him, I know him since we were in pampers, so I know when he’s mad, sad, , shy, or NERVOUS. He would never hurt anyone nor he would make them feel bad. He hates violence and now he hates himself, too. I don’t understand… “what’s going?” It all started one afternoon. When me and Jesse were going to the store (every Saturday we went to the store to buy candy), and after that we were going to go to the park. But after getting out of the store there were some mean kids who always picked on Jesse they were Arnold, John and Joshua. Jesse never listen to them until they said something he didn’t like. Like I said I know when Jesse’s mad and this time he wasn’t just mad he was angry. I told him to calm down and to not do anything, until he thinks about what he’s doing or what the consequences will be if he does anything wrong. He did listen to me but he still got thought of doing something back to them. After a week I hadn’t seen Jesse it was like if he disappear and he didn’t even went to school, and ofcourse I was relly worry about him so I decided to go visit him to his house. When I got there his parents told me that he wasn’t home that he was in the park playing basketball. It was weird for me because Jesse never plays basketball in the park without me (we both love basketball). So then I knew he was up to something, and I don’t know why but I felt that it was something bad, really bad. So I hurried to the park, and that’s when I saw him sitting in bench with tears running trow his face, and I asked him what was wrong. Then he started crying even more, I gave him a hug to make him feel a little better, and it did work, but what really didn’t work was taking words out of his mouth. I was waiting for him to tell me what was wrong, what was going on. So we went for a walk, and that’s when he told me, that’s when I was getting to understand why he wasn’t showing up at school and why he was crying. I felt really bad for him, because I had given so many advices and he did took my advices… except for the one last advice I had given him do not do anything, until you think about what your doing or what the consequences will be if you take the wrong decision. He didn’t listen to me and now he has to pay for what he has done.

Her Myterious Death

Her death was due to mysterious circumstances and I was assigned to the case. It took place on her apartment, she lived in 2849 North Avenue. She lived in the first floor. She was marry to a guy named Gabriel Gonzales, and they had a baby who was nine months old. When I went to her apartment there were a lot of officers in the house searching for unexpected things. As I was walking towards the house there was the officer Perez. He told me that she was found dead this afternoon at 3:00 pm, and that her baby of nine months old Janet and his husband Gabriel were missing. Suddenly we see a car parking in front of the house. It was a man driving, and in the back seat was the baby with some bags on the other side of him. It looked like if he had come from the market to food or something like that. Then he gets of the car and starts running towards the house and he asks, “what happen here? Is Isabel alright?” and again he run inside he house to see if his wife was okay. Apparently he saw his wife’s body lying on the floor, with blood everywhere. Then he starts crying, and police offices try to take him away from his wife, but he wouldn’t let go. When the officers finally took him to the ambulance, they went to look for the baby on the car and took it to him. Then I went to where he was at and I introduce myself, “ Hi, I’m the detective Becerra, and I’m going to take care of your wife’s case of murder” and he shake my hand and said, “ hi, I’m Gabriel Gonzales, and my baby’s name is Janet Gonzales, I also wanted to thank you for helping me and my baby to find Isabel’s murderer. Isabel didn’t deserved to die to young and specially when we were about to have a new life with our first new born baby, and I asked him, “ so this is the first baby you and Isabel had?”, “yes, sir” he answers. Then I started asking more questions and he answer them all, or almost all, and it seem that he had answer the questions like he had nothing to do with it and of course maybe he didn’t had anything to do with it so there wasn’t a reason why he should be nervous. But the one question he didn’t answer like the other ones was when I asked him; “and where were you at, when your wife Isabel was all alone at the house”, he took a moment to answer and then said “do you think I killed my wife!?”, and I said “well we never know what the relationship was like between the two couple, when one get murder, (after a fight maybe)”. So then he takes the baby on his arms, turns and walks away. I just let him go, because he knew that what I said was true, so he realize what was going on inside my head. The next day I went to see Isabel’s body and when I saw it, it was horrible. It was like if I had just seen a ghost right in front of me. She had marks on her face she was cut with a knife, and she had bruises on their arms and legs. Some of her hair was missing on the left side of her head, too. Like if she had struggle to get away form the killer, but the killer caught her and pull her really hard from her hair until it came of, like if he did it on purpose. The victim didn’t got rape, and the killer didn’t even stole anything from the house. Then in the house, where Isabel was found dead, right next to her was a knife. The knife she was murder with. The only problem was that the knife didn’t had a single finger print, or anything like that. Yesterday I was looking around the house and found an album, Isabel’s album. There was one picture in that album that attracted my attention to it. In the picture there was the whole family. So I started looking for every person from the picture. Lucky me that I did found every single person from the picture. But when I came up to them nobody said anything, is like if they knew who the killer was, but they were afraid of saying something. At last Isabel’s sister Veronica had said that Isabel had an ex-husband who had always treated her bad and never let her go out. Veronica said, “ It was like if she was his slave, but we haven’t seen him since they got divorce. They got divorce like three years ago, but I still have a feeling that he’s the killer”. She gave me his name Andrew Gonzales and I started searching for him and found his address. It was kind of weird, because he had the same last name as Gabriel. So I decided to see both of them at the same time in the police station, but indifferent rooms and ask them the same questions. They both did said that trued that they were both brothers and that they both had fell in love with the same girl, and that they both made a deal about who would keep her. Andrew had said that he was the first one to marry her and lived with her, but he wasn’t too nice to her, so they got divorce about three years ago, (I had remember of Veronica who had said that they got divorce three years ago and that Andrew wasn’t to nice with her). Then it was Gabriel’s turn, and he said the same thing only that he did stayed with Isabel and that they even had a baby who’s Janet, the nine year old baby. The I put them both in the same room and told them what was going on and why I had asked the same questions. Andrew couldn’t believe it, nor did Gabriel. After that I kept asking them more questions until I suspected something from them, like if all they had said was already planned. So I just let them go and decided to follow them I was keeping and eye on them, because I had a feeling that they had something to do with Isabel’s death. If they had gone to different directions, I would send two other policemen to follow one of them and I’ll follow the other one which was Andrew. So we kept following them until Gabriel and Andrew met themselves in a restaurant. I thought “they took different directions, but they met in the same place so that the police or I wouldn’t suspect anything else about them, but they didn’t know that were being followed since they got out of the police station. So I order the policemen who were dressed in regular cloth to go inside and what them and to listen what they were talking about or what they were doing there. So they did what I had order them to do, they went inside the restaurant then currently I heard a shot. I got out of the car and ran inside the restaurant, and then I hear another shot. When I got there, there laid Andrew and right next to him was Gabriel. Both of them had been shot by the guy who was sitting in front of them. The two officer man and I took our guns out and told him to put his hands out and throw the gun to us. He did as we told him to do, and took him to the police station. His name was Albert Benfield. He had told me everything that had happen, and he even told he was the one who had killed Isabel. He was Isabel’s best friend. In the next five days he had been send to jail for ten years, for murderer. After all, I was right about Andrew and Gabriel having to do with Isabel’s death. But at the same time I was wrong. Andrew nor Gabriel were the ones who killed Isabel. Everything was solved, the only thing that broke my heart was that Janet had no parents now, and that she was send to a foster home, and I just thought "Poor Janet"...

How to Make Logandale Better

There are many reasons that would make Logandale a better school. Having more activities would make the school fun and exciting. The school should change the food, to healthy food, but at the same time that tastes good. Doing the work in the computers, I mean using it more often. So what do you think, would this be some good reasons?
Having more activities would make the school fun and exciting. Having more games in gym, but not only in school time but after school and before school. Doing work but in a better and exciting way, not boring ways. Like just writing and writing won’t be a fun way, but writing and sharing some ideas with the class will be fun to do, and it will give students more encouragement to do their work and stay in the school. Activities are not only the problem but the food, too.
The school should change the food, and give it healthy but at the same time good (looking) that would make students want to eat it and eat lunch here. It will be good for the students and we give them more energy to use in school. Their parents will see that the food from here is good for their children. Also to make students wash their hands before eating, because some of the students go to art or write and their hands are dirty, and then they eat so they’re eating germs which can make them sick. The food is boring and the work too, and it makes the students don’t want to do their work.
Doing the work on the computers and using them more often will also be a good idea and will make the school improve, too. For example, if we do writing work in the computer it would be easier to do, because if the students make a mistake they can erase it without living a make there. Also teachers won’t have to worry about their students not having their materials in the class. Parents too, they won’t have to worry if their children don’t have their materials or they don’t have money to buy the materials. Parents will like Logandale and might send their children to Logandale, because of all the activities, food, and the work that they do in their laptops.
Those are some reasons, that can make Logandale a better school. Having more activities would make the school fun and exciting. The school should change the food, and give it healthy but at the same time good. Doing the work in the computers, and using it more often. Don’t you think that, that will make Logandale a better school?

Yesica Becerra's Life Story

When I first got marry at age 18 I didn't know I was doing wrong, because I was too young to get marry. But that's what my decision was back then. Years later I had my first child, it was a boy. He's now 15 years old , Oscar. Then a year later I had my second child, but this time it was a girl, she's now 14 years old, Yesica. After that I had another girl, Irma and she's now 12. I had three kids and I thought that was too many kids and decided to leave them with my sister Patricia, who was suppose to take care of them. Then two years after I left, I had another girl, her name is Lidia and she's now 10 years old. They didn't know they had a little sister until they were about five or six. I use to call them once in a while when I had time or when they had time, and they use to speak with their little sister. They didn't know her by person, but they talked on the phone, so it didn't make me feel that bad. Yesica always said she wish she could see Lidia for the first time, and be with her the whole time, and play with her, too.

I had left them with my sister, because she was closer to me and lived almost in the same block. Then I called her so I can speak with my children but she had said that they were staying in my mom's house. At first I was really mad about her, leaving my children somewhere else when I gave them to her so she could take care of them. Then I got over it because they were better with their grandma, even dough Yesica told me that she felt alone, because in the house they made fun of her and her sister and brother, just because they didn't had parents. It broke my heart just by hearing her say that. So I told her that one of these days I was going to go to Mexico to pick them up and come to Chicago. Yesica didn't know why I had left them and she always ask, her aunts, uncles, and her grandma but nobody wanted to tell her. Or at least that's what she told me. Then she ask me why had I left them and why didn't I took them with me. I did told her the truth, that I cold take care of them, and that also I needed to work to feed ourselves.

I told her that I came here to Chicago and had left them with their aunt because, I came here (Chicago) to work and the money I won, send it to them, and that I couldn't take them with me because it was going to be harder for me to go to work with three kids. So like I told her, "one of these days I'm going to Mexico to pick them up and come to Chicago", and I did. I went to Mexico when Yesica was 9 years old. Also for the first time she had seen her little sister and Oscar and Irma, too. At that time Lidia was 5 years old. At first they all use to get along, but now is like they were sharks fighting for food. But the important thing is that we are together again. Oh yeah sorry not to mention it, almost all together, because I got separated from their dad when I left them with their aunt. I told them that too, and the good thing is that they did understand me.
